An arts journalist who reports on street art found himself at a garage sale and retrieved artifacts of works by an underground artist that date back to 1984. Notes from a handful of abandoned journals, and images kept on old media storage, showed the archive was in concert with today’s contemporary street art, said the journalist. He later mounted an exhibition of the graphic designed based political commentary in a small gallery on a college campus that hosted the final 2016 Presidential Debate. The exhibition was held after the debate, days before the election. The reception had protestors and poets.
